My name is Skylar Quinn. I just moved to New York with my best friend Bridget, and I have a confession. Well, more than one. Okay, quite a few really. Fine, here goes!

Confession #1: I’m a sex columnist. Hold on, that’s not really the confession. You see, I’m sort of a virgin…sex columnist.

Confession #2: I’m kind of in love with Bridget’s older brother, Oliver. No, I was. No, I am. Wait, was? Am? Crap.

Confession #3: I’ve been avoiding Oliver for four years. Or I was until today, because he just moved in. Yes, you read that correctly. He’s my new roommate. So that night we’ve both been pretending never happened, well, we might not be able to keep it a secret any longer.

And trust me, this is only the beginning.

What a quirky fun light romance novel! I finished this pretty quickly just because it was so light to read and I think I needed something like this after reading such heavy and not so great books after this week.

The story follows Skye as she navigates becoming the new sex columnist at the newspaper she was interning at. One catch though: she is a virgin though no one knows it. So Skye has to embellish a little with the help of her best friend, Bridget who is awesome! All the while Bridget’s brother, Ollie who she loves is living with them and loves teasing and embarrassing her!

Skye is so relatable and quirky I just fell in love with her! She has some REALLY awkward situations that make you squirm but that’s all part of her personality which you will fall in love with. Other times you just wanted to strangle her for being so awkward. LOL She is strong but can get whiney at times I felt. Bridget is an awesome friend and I totally wish I had one like that (don’t hate me my BFFs). She was so intuned to Skye and knew exactly what she needed it was just amazing! Ollie is so cute and loveable! I love his sarcasm and his way of teasing! I wish I could meet someone like that *sigs*

Everything was great about this book though it reminded me of Sophie Kinsellas books a little too much. I really enjoyed reading this light hearted romance novel and I highly suggest it if you like anything by Sophie Kinsella or just want something cute and fun to read!
